The Plus exists for people who want the big screen and marathon battery without paying Pro prices. And honestly? That's a lot of people. The 6.7-inch display is the same size as the Pro Max, the A18 chip is plenty fast, and battery life is genuinely outstanding — you'll struggle to kill this in a day. You miss ProMotion (120Hz) and the telephoto lens, which matters if you're a photographer or a scrolling addict. For everyone else, the £300 saved vs Pro Max buys a nice case and some AirPods.
